14th March 2004 Windsurfing: Worthing Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: 25mph Surf / Sea State: Mushy but fun Air Temperature: 11c Sea Temperature: 6 Weather: Overcast with rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: I havent been on the water for ages so was looking forward to Sunday. Turned up about 1030 with tide right out. Almost dead onshore. All wind blown mush but some waves holding up for longer. Rigged 4.5 and was getting some nice air off the shoulder of the waves. Tide was coming in all the time and the waves changed accordingly - out past the mush were some nice faces which you could just float off from - I didnt go for anything bigtime but enjoyed the blasting, gybing, backside riding and jumping - nice! Packed up after about 3hrs - p1ssed it down so the usual packing up in the rain - great. Aching for it now - hope the wind stays for next w/e. The more I get to know the board the more I am pleased with it. Def recommened. |
